The INFO Train the Trainer Workshop

…also known as the INFO T3 Workshop

The INFO T3 workshop is aimed at creating a core group of passionate faculty that will be able to facilitate the INFO Basics workshop and train novice debriefers for front line debriefing. 

• In the first half of the T3 workshop we explore the participants experience with clinical event debriefing, We will examine the various different clinical debriefing processes described in the literature and focus on the current evidence for clinical event debriefing. T3 Workshop facilitators will share their suggestions on how to optimise your clinical event debriefing process including, creating investment amongst your primary users, maintaining a clinical event program and benefits of collecting data in different formats of the debriefing form i.e. paper or digital.
• The second half of the workshop puts the T3 participants through the INFO BASICS workshop.
• Target group – The unit clinical event debriefing champions, nurse educators or other key individuals with an interest in clinical event debriefing.
• Goal – After completing the T3 workshop, graduates assume the role of faculty for teaching subsequent two-hour INFO BASICS workshops. This allows your unit to independently build and maintain your clinical event debriefing facilitator staff capacity.
• Workshop – 4 hours

The INFO BASICS workshop for T3’s

• Cost – $325 per person
  • Includes
    • 1 x one hour pre-workshop session to customize the INFO debriefing tool.
    • 2 x one hour follow up sessions to track progress and provide support as needed.
    • Access to the INFO Community of Practice for all participants who complete training
    • Instructional material for the INFO BASICS workshop.
